Day Two: City of David, Hezekiah's Tunnel, Davidson Center and Southern Wall, Kotel, Camel rides, Bedouin Tent.

Day two began with shacharit outside and then off to the City of David. There we saw an interactive video about the history and significance of the City of David. Then we GOT WET!!! We went in Hezekiah's Tunnel and experienced what it was like centuries ago when the ancient people, during the second Temple period of Hezekiah's rule, wanted to protect their water source while the Assyrian's laid siege to the city.
Then we went to the Davidson Center and learned about the significance of the Southern wall of the Temple and prepared for our visit to the Kotel.
We then moved over to one of the most holy places for Jews around the world. We spent some personal reflection time at the Kotel, the Western Wall.
Following our experience in Jerusalem we headed south to the Bedouins...delicious! We were greeted by the Bedouins in traditional Bedouin hospitality. We tasted their sweet tea and bitter coffee, and then took a trip on some camels! Always an adventure! We got the real "feel" for desert life and got very close to our camel friends! Then we ate a very yummy meal in Bedouin tents.
It was an early night because we had a 4am wake-up call to prepare for hiking Massada.
